Last Meals

Last Meals is a cookbook exploring the final meal requests of inmates facing execution. Through 10 recipes, you’ll discover personal tastes and cultural backgrounds, offering a glimpse into the human experience within the justice system. This project approaches the complex subject with respect, focusing on the universal language of food and the stories it tells. As both a culinary and editorial project, I photographed all the dishes and designed the layout, giving voice to this unique project.
